Archives

Why archives? I want to make my own digital library of my work — so, why not? Traditional publishing is a game that I don't want to play. Why should someone I don't know, who runs a magazine or a paper or whatever else, decide whether or not my work is worthy of being seen by a particular audience? Especially when those institutional (or, reliant on instutional funding) organisations will never be the site of true structural change?

I'm invested in the DIY, the community-led, the grassroots. What's more DIY than learning html to self-publish my own work?

And, anyway, I'd rather not let all these things I've written rot away on my computer storage. So, have a read if you'd like!
